Edward H. Moore

Edward H. Moore is a graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Texas Law School. He has been a lecturer at dozens of legal seminars on topics such as voir dire, damages, and the Texas Tort Claims Act. Fellow attorneys frequently consult him for his expertise in personal injury and governmental liability litigation. He has taught trial advocacy at the Southern Methodist University School of Law and is a Director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Moore began his legal career as a prosecutor in Austin, Texas. As a prosecutor, he handled dozens of jury trials, bench trials, and other contested matters. He branched into civil litigation in 1984 as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas. In this position, Mr. Moore defended personal injury litigation actions and was involved in numerous jury trials.
Mr. Moore began specializing in representation of plaintiffs in personal injury matters in 1985 and has continued to represent plaintiffs since that time. He has been board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987. The majority of his practice is medical negligence and nursing home liability, although he continues to handle general negligence, construction negligence, and product liability cases.
