Montgomery County Police arrested 21-year old Raul Alejandro Ramos of Silver Spring for allegedly molesting a 5-year old girl during a private after school program held in Rockville, Maryland. According to reports, the sex abuse took place during a game of tag and may not have been the first time an incident like this took place.
Police charged the perpetrator with third-degree sexual offense for the alleged incidents between August 29 and October 31. The abuse took place at Flower Valley Elementary School during the “Kids After Hours” program held on school grounds.
Sadly, this case marks only the latest in a series of heartbreaking incidents at Maryland public schools in the Washington, D.C. area. Recently, a school bus aide was charged with molesting at least two young children aboard a James Ryder Randall Elementary School bus and another school aid was charged with state and federal child pornography and abuse offenses at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School.
