1/17/2020- A high speed police chase that happened in Cleveland as local schools were being let out resulted in the death of 13-year old Tamia Chappman on December 20, 2019.  Chappman was walking to the East Cleveland Public Library when she was struck on the sidewalk.  Cochran Firm attorney Shean Williams claims that the police chase violated Cleveland Division of Police policies as well as Ohio state laws.  Cleveland police Chief Calvin Williams has apologized to the family, but argued against calls by the community to end police pursuits altogether.
