FEBRUARY 17, 2020- Under a controversial Florida law known as the Baker act, a 6-year-old Florida girl was taken from her school and sent to a mental health facility without her mother’s consent.  Additionally, the young child was allegedly given antipsychotic medications at the center again, without her mother’s approval.  The police were called to the school when the girl allegedly threw a temper tantrum in her classroom.  Her mother has said that the young girl cannot communicate what had happened to her clearly because of her disability.
