Ripon, California 4/3/2019- “After reviewing thousands of pages of documents, I can say there’s nothing that has made me less concerned. We need to really dig in and find out what is causing all of this cancer to proliferate in the city of Ripon. We want to save lives. We want to prevent this from happening,” says Marcellis Morris of The Cochran Firm Los Angeles at a community meeting where residents met to find out why so many students and teachers are suffering from cancer. Adjusting for size, cancer rates in Ripon are substantially higher than the California average. Residents wonder if the cause is the Sprint cellular tower on campus or even the result of contamination from a Nestle plant that is known to use cancer-causing chemicals to process coffee.
